Orbyta Engineering worked on this project to renovate an apartment located in a 1980s building, featuring a spacious terrace overlooking a tree-lined avenue. The request of the clients, two young managers, was clear: to transform the space into a modern, welcoming, and functional environment that would fully reflect their needs and lifestyle.
The project focused on remodeling interior spaces to create a more fluid and bright layout, complemented by interior design and redesign of facilities to ensure efficiency and technological innovation.
Remodeling of spaces
To improve the functionality and aesthetics of the apartment, a new floor plan layout was adopted that made the spaces more open and bright:
- Creation of an open space: the removal of a dividing wall joined two rooms facing the driveway, creating a single room that includes the kitchen with an island and the living room.
- Sleeping area and bathrooms: the sleeping area has been connected to the bathrooms via a functional hallway, where the washer and dryer are masked by a custom-made cabinet that blends seamlessly with the walls
- Master bedroom: a walk-in closet with a two-door sliding door and integrated LED lighting was created, ensuring order and comfort.
- Modern and functional bathrooms: one of the bathrooms has been fitted with a walk-in shower, while the other includes a freestanding tub. Both feature light-colored wall tiles, floor-level faucets, and wall-hung fixtures, creating a sleek, minimalist aesthetic.
Modern installations and advanced home automation
The renovation included a complete redesign of the systems to improve the apartment’s comfort and energy efficiency:
- Efficient heating: A distribution system with the latest collectors and heating bodies ensures uniform heat and low consumption.
- Ducted air conditioning: By lowering the ceiling in the hall and corridor, the air conditioning system has been aesthetically integrated and made more efficient.
- Home automation electrical system: The entire apartment has been equipped with a system that allows remote control of lights, temperature, and electronic devices, offering owners modern and customizable comfort.
The project realized by Orbyta Engineering represents a perfect balance between aesthetics, functionality and technological innovation.
